Postage & Packaging

We find it frustrating when websites advertise their gift-items at low prices but add a disproportionate amount on for p&p at the checkout stage. By shopping with us, you do not have to suffer this annoyance. Your order is guaranteed to be dispatched within one working day of ordering. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to absolutely guarantee a delivery date with Royal Mail First Class, however, the vast majority of orders will arrive within one or two working days. If you order a gift-basket, it will be sent via Special Delivery and if you order before 2pm it will be with you the next working day. You have the option of receiving our other products urgently as well. You can choose special (next-day) delivery at the checkout stage for any product. Royal Mail charges start at £4.95 for this service but guarantee the package will be delivered the next working day (some postcode exceptions apply).

There are so many products designed for babies these days. Some of these are wonderful items that are produced ethically from natural and organic materials. Unfortunately, there is also a great deal of low quality product on the market today. As consumers, we have to be careful about what chemicals are in the products we buy, especially when shopping for a baby. Many dangerous substances have thankfully been identified and banned from the production process in the UK but the long-term effects of many legal chemicals remain unknown. Fortunately, this has caused a strong shift in consumer demands recently. The value of buying natural products has been increasingly publicised over the last decade and the message is finally affecting our spending habits. In the baby market especially, consumers are happy to pay a little bit more for organic products, especially luxurious presents, clothes, toys, christening keepsakes and toiletries. This has put real pressure on retailers and manufacturers to increase the quality of their products dramatically and to change the way they do business in general. However, some manufacturers are using clever packaging and marketing to disguise their true colours. Consumers can easily buy a product that they have been lead to believe is natural and green, only to discover a concoction of questionable items on the ingredients list."

I found a company that imported these directly from the bed of the Mediterranean Sea and went to great lengths to ensure that this was done sound environmental practices.
