Because our flagship product line is personalised, it is not practical for retailers to keep a stock in their warehouse. Therefore, we use drop shopping as a method of supply chain management. It works by the retailer advertising our products on their website at the retail price. Once they receive an order, the retailer logs into our system and passes the order details onto us. They pay a trade price for the product to finalise the order. The retailer makes a profit from the retail price minus the trade price without having to invest any money in stock or production.
