One study that was published in the International Journal of Arts Medicine showed that playing lullabies to babies can reduce their heart rates, increase oxygen saturation and reduce stress behaviours.
Developing a consistent pre-bed routine is one of the most effective ways of helping your baby to reach the stage of sleeping through the night more quickly. Babies love predictability and so if it’s practical for your situation, start developing a pre-bed ritual and try and stick to it every night.
